Our Story

Landmark Insurance Group, formerly IRG Underwriters, is an independent insurance agency. IRG Underwriters began its operations as an environmental insurance agency in 2002. From the beginning, our focus has been on providing the best service to our clients.

Over the years, we have specialized in the placement of complex risks while broadening our access to markets. Through our continued growth we have added to our commercial property, casualty book of business, and added a personal lines department. We have remained focus on our environmental roots, and have continued to be a predominate force in the environmental insurance market.

As of January 1st, 2016, IRG Underwriters, along with Elk Ridge Insurance, Security Financial, and Fourth Gen Insurance came together to launch Landmark Insurance Group. The agency platform has been restructured to accommodate growth, and to assist our clients in managing their unique risks. Our name has changed, but we still offer the same quality service on which you have come to rely.
