Pollution Legal Liability (site pollution)

Pollution Legal Liability (PLL) protects against pollution claims associated with a fixed location. These policies can be tailored to a wide range of property uses and risks.

These policies provide coverage for on site clean-up costs for new pollution conditions and unknown pre-existing pollution conditions, as well as third party bodily injury, property damage, and clean-up cost.

PLL policies can be utilized to facilitate a real estate transaction, comply with loan requirements, or comply with local and federal environmental laws. In addition, these policies can protect a single location or provide blanket coverage for multiple locations, both nationally and abroad.

Select carriers have broadened coverage to include third party transportation coverage, non-owned disposal sites coverage, business interruption costs, emergency cost response, and crisis management.

Contractors Pollution Liability

Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL) helps protect contractors of all disciplines against pollution liability claims arising from the contractor’s work. All contractors, either construction or environmental, are faced with the potential exposure of an environmental claim. These policies fill gaps in coverage left by the standard commercial general liability policy.

Pollution Legal Liability (site pollution)

Products Pollution Liability provides third-party coverage for pollution claims that arise from an insured’s product.  Coverage includes bodily injury, property damage, and cleanup costs. These policies can be enhanced by a vendor endorsement and contingent transportation endorsements, providing more robust coverage.

Other Environmental Risks – Transportation

Environmental insurance is ever evolving, from the appetites of the carriers to the products being offered. The products currently being offered in the market are more robust than ever; offering a coverage solution for a wide array of risks with environmental exposure.
One of these products is Transportation Pollution Liability insurance for both hazardous haulers and non-hazardous haulers. These policies provide coverage for bodily injury, property damage, and clean-up costs to third parties. Further, Transportation Pollution Liability can provide protection for those insureds that produce hazardous materials that are transported by third-party carriers.
